Teaching Philosophy

As an experienced dance educator my teaching philosophy is a direct reflection of what I received from many of my teachers and mentors throughout my dance journey. It's essential my students develop accountability, confidence and collaboration skills while I foster their technique and creativity. From recreational to professional, dance requires you to have a strong focus and dedication while training. I strive to teach with enthusiasm, integrity, classroom management, and supportive administration. I create a warm and respectful learning atmosphere that encourages students to explore on what makes them unique.

In dance, I believe students grow not only from overcoming physical challenges but the intellectual ones too. Pairing students with peers to exchange healthy feedback, generate ideas and to support one another's achievement is another

way I deepen the connections inside the dance studio.

My passion for dance is one of my earliest memories and I feel most alive when I'm sharing my gift.
